The Idea
The idea of implementing UniSound had, in addition to the uniform aesthetic, extremely stringent technical requirements for vibration absorption in a crowded space where keeping quiet was a prerequisite. Maintaining all fire safety and anti-slip safety requirements, UniSound has successfully passed on-the-spot laboratory tests performed on behalf of the University of Cyprus.
Deployment
UniSound was deployed over elevated floors with access and concrete points. The access points were completed at Gizet's premises in special boxing structures and placed at specific project sites, following completion and complete polymerization of the material.
Special Requirements
Although UniSound, thanks to its flexibility, can be mounted in thousands of square meters without the need for joints, the specificity of the project required its uniform application over both the raised floor and the concrete framework. Therefore, special T profiles were installed to cover the construction joint and joint with aluminum terminals where there was also a construction joint on the substrate, also serving boxing needs.
